A rare & exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager at Sway Bar, Holborn, London.

Sway is in the heart of Holborn, an extravagant and beautiful place to meet with equally extravagant and beautiful people.  This is a multifaceted venue, with Bar, Restaurant Nightclub, event rooms, private spaces with further plans in the pipe line.  The venue can see circa 900+ customers through the door on key occasions.  Therefore, a good understanding of working with various types of customers is essential as the venue captures a wide range of ages & demographics.

Offering our customers, the very best, drink, food and customer service we need an experienced General Manager who can offer an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to think outside of the box & enhance the Venues’ experience by continuing to build upon the ‘Excellence’ currently delivered.  A great understanding of social media, with the ability to continue the current digital outreach. A passion & knowledge for the area and demographic, as this is the core offer.

The successful applicant will offer strong experience with high standards & developing a business, be seasoned with driving footfall & generating sales.

It is essential that you can also offer experience in the following areas:

  • Leading large teams
  • Large Event organisation
  • Managing a high-volume, high calibre venue
  • Excellent business acumen
  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of licensing, EHO, Health & Safety and HR compliance
  • Keeping a tight rein on all KPI’s whilst continuously striving to exceed targets
  • Leading from the front & leading by example
  • Outstanding People & Development skills
